Summer Globus Retreat Announced

The summer 2000 Globus retreat will be held July 30 - August 1 in Pittsburgh, the three days before the IEEE High Performance Distributed Computing symposium. These events will provide an opportunity for users and developers of the Globus distributed computing toolkit to discuss common interests.

The retreat program includes:

• Tutorials on Globus programming and Globus system administration
• A technical program on the first two days, which will include talks by Globus users and updates on the status of specific Globus tools
• A discussion of future directions
