Register for TotalView Workshop by July 26

On July 31 NCSA is offering a free workshop on TotalView, a parallel debugger from ETNUS. TotalView is designed to work well in high-performance environments, supports both OpenMP and MPI parallel programming paradigms, and can be used to debug both Fortran and C programs. TotalView is available on NCSA's SGI Origin2000 supercomputer.

Workshop Title: MultiProcess Debugging with TotalView
Workshop Goal: To present the basics of TotalView debugging through a combination of lectures and computer lab exercises so that programmers and scientists can effectively troubleshoot their parallel programs
Time and Location: July 31, 2 pm-4 pm, 3414 Beckman Institute
Instructor: Roy Heimbach, NCSA Consulting
Prerequisites: Experience with UNIX operating system, Fortran and/or C computer languages, and OpenMP and/or MPI parallel programming
