HDF-EOS Workshop Convenes Sept. 19

The fourth annual workshop aimed at users of the Heirarchical Data Format (HDF) system for storing information about Earth Observing Systems (EOS) will be held Sept. 19-21 in Landover, MD. Called HDF-EOS Workshop IV, the workshop is an opportunity for the HDF-EOS community to convene and share accomplishments in the continuing development of this standard. It is aimed at tool developers, data providers, data users, and application developers and programmers. Included will be educational sessions, presentations, an expert panel, and hands-on training sessions.

The workshop will be held at the Raytheon Systems Corporation Complex, about eight miles from NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. More information and a registration form are available at http://hdfeos.gsfc.nasa.gov/hdfeos/regform4.html.
