Virtual Systems Conference Set for October

The International Society on Virtual Systems and MultiMedia presents the Sixth
International Conference on Virtual Systems and MultiMedia (VSMM2000). The
conference will be held Oct. 3-6, 2000 in Gifu, Japan.
Entitled "International Collaboration through Virtual Heritage, Technical
Applications and Highspeed Connectivity," the conference offers a wide variety
of topics, with more than 140 papers to be presented and participants from 23
countries. Sessions will focus on such topics as developments and innovations
pertaining to virtual heritage, high-speed networking and collaboration,
telemedicine, robotics, and the commercial development of virtual reality.
