EDUCAUSE Seeks Award Nominees

EDUCAUSE, an international nonprofit association that seeks to transform higher education through the use of technology and information resources, is encouraging nominations for this year's EDUCAUSE Leadership Awards.

The awards recognize leaders in higher education technology management for their achievements and their influence on the higher education community. Nominations are being sought in the following areas:

  • Excellence in Leadership - for extraordinary effectiveness, influence, statesmanship, and lifetime achievement on campuses and within the wider higher education community;
  • Leadership in the Profession - for exceptionally effective leadership in the use and management of campus information technology, and for mentoring other professionals;
  • Leadership in Information Technologies - for visionary achievements and effectiveness in identifying and advancing technology directions to meet the needs of higher education;
  • Leadership in Public Policy and Practice - for prominence in the arena of national and international technology agendas, and for linking higher education to those agendas.
