NRAC to Allocate Time on New PSC System

released November 21, 2000

The March 2001 meeting of the National Resource Allocations Committee (NRAC) will consider proposals requesting time on systems at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center. The Alliance and NPACI, the two partnerships funded by the NSF's Partnerships for Advanced Computational Infrastructure (PACI) program, announced that NRAC will accept proposals requesting time on the first configuration of PSC's Terascale Computing System and on its Cray T3E-900.

NRAC is the nationwide committee that grants time on PACI computing systems. For more information on the allocations process, see the Alliance's allocations information page (http://www.ncsa.uiuc.edu/alliance/applying/Overview.html), or the NPACI allocations page (http://www.npaci.edu/Allocations/alloc_txt.html).
