New Version of HDF Now Available

NCSA's Hierarchical Data Format, version 4.1r4 is now available at http://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu/hdf4.html. Documentation on the software is available at http://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu/doc.html. HDF is a library and multi-object file format used to store graphical and numerical data and transfer it between machines. HDF 4.1r4 includes new utilities that convert images and a fix of a JPEG compression interface. First time users are encouraged to view the HDF FAQ for this release at http://hdf.ncsa.uiuc.edu/HDF-FAQ.html.
