OSCAR Symposium 2003 Papers Requested

The Open Source Application Resources (OSCAR) Symposium 2003 will be held May 11-14, 2003 in conjunction with the 17th Annual International Symposium on High Performance Computing Systems and Applications (HPCS) at the Delta Hotel located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.
OSCAR has had over 70,000 downloads since its first public release in April of 2001 to speak for its effectiveness in the areas of providing cluster installation, management and computing software stack. Early registration for the conference begins on March 14, 2003.
Papers are requested for submission on computing as it related to OSCAR, including but not limited to the following topics: experiences using the OSCAR environment, packages to consider for inclusion in future OSCAR versions, cluster and Grid as it relates to OSCAR, proposals for new OSCAR projects, and experiences creating OSCAR packages and new OSCAR distributions. Papers must be original, previously unpublished work and must not exceed six pages including tables and illustrations. Those that are accepted will be published in the proceedings and will be available at the conference. All manuscripts are to be submitted by e-mail in PDF format to oscar2003@ccs.USherbrooke.ca.
The deadline for full manuscript submission is Feb. 1, 2003, and authors will be notified by Feb. 4, 2003. Final camera-ready manuscripts are due March 14, 2003.
