Workshop to address Terascale development

The Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center will hold a workshop called "Introduction To Terascale Code Development" on Oct. 13 and 14 to enhance the ability of the nation's computational science and engineering community to effectively use today's leading-edge computing systems. The workshop is open to all researchers who would like to develop optimized codes for massive parallelism.
The workshop will incorporate both lectures and extensive hands-on lab sessions. A working knowledge of FORTRAN or C and UNIX is required, and parallel computing experience is recommended. The full agenda is available at http://www.psc.edu/training/TCD_Oct03/agenda.html.
The workshop fee is $575 for government employees, $975 for those in the private sector. Fees are waived to students, professors, and researchers associated with academic institutions.
