NSF Middleware Workshop Set for Nov. 3

The second NSF Middleware Initiative (NMI) Integration Testbed results workshop, "Experiences in Middleware Deployment," will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PDT) Nov. 3, preceding the EDUCAUSE annual conference, in Anaheim, California. The workshop is free, but registration must be received by Oct. 17.

Institutions participating in the NMI Integration Testbed will speak on their experiences and the lessons learned while working to implement campus grids, research grids, enterprise-wide identity and directory services, and directory-enabled applications.

Campuses that will be presenting are:

• The University of Alabama at Birmingham
• The University of Florida
• Georgia State University
• The University of Virginia
• The University of Southern California
