Registration open for Women of Vision award ceremony

The Anita Borg Institute has established the Women of Vision Awards to honor women and institutions that embody the institute's mission to increase the impact of women on all aspects of technology and to increase the positive impact of technology on the lives of the world's women.

Sixty-three women have been nominated, and honorees will be chosen in three categories: Innovation, Leadership & Social Impact.

The awards will be presented on Oct. 18 at a gala in San Jose. Those wishing to attend can register online. A keynote address will be given by John L. Hennessy, president of Stanford University.
