NCSA hosts director of Edinburgh Parallel Computing Center

Mark Parsons, Commercial Director of EPCC (the Edinburgh Parallel Computing Center) will visit NCSA on Friday, Sept. 9. At 1 p.m. in room 1030 at the NCSA Building. Parsons will give a talk on EPCC's software development practices and particularly EPCC's experiences developing and engineering software for industry. After his talk there will be time for informal conversation.

EPCC is well known in the high-performance computing and grid communities for its development of the OGSA Data Access and Integration (OGSA-DAI) software http://www.ogsadai.org.uk/.
